These terms govern all quotations issued and work performed by Brewdesk Trade Services Sdn Bhd (Reg. 202201018435 (1462371-M)) ("Brewdesk", "we"). By approving a quotation, in writing or by message, you accept these terms.
1. Quotations
Quotations are issued in writing (including WhatsApp and email) after inspection and remain valid for 14 days. The quoted price is fixed for the described scope. If, once work is under way, we discover conditions that materially change the scope, such as concealed damage or non-standard existing installations, work pauses and we present a revised quotation. You are never charged beyond an approved figure.
2. Call-out and inspection fees
Within our core coverage area the inspection fee is waived when the quoted work proceeds. Where a call-out fee applies, it is stated before we travel. If you decline the quotation, only the stated inspection or call-out fee is payable.
3. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work, against an itemised invoice, by bank transfer, DuitNow or cash. Projects exceeding RM3,000 may require a deposit of up to 40% for materials, stated in the quotation. Title to installed parts passes on full payment.
4. Workmanship warranty
Our labour is covered by a 90-day workmanship warranty: if the same fault recurs at the same point due to our work, we return and remedy it at no charge. Manufacturer warranties on supplied parts (heaters, fans, fittings) pass to you, and we assist with claims. The warranty does not cover new faults elsewhere in the installation, damage caused by third parties or renovation work, misuse, or pre-existing conditions we identified in writing at the time of the job.
5. Access and site conditions
You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area and to disclose known hazards. Where work requires opening walls, ceilings or floors, we make good to a paint-ready finish unless the quotation states otherwise; final decorative finishing (paint matching, tiling beyond the immediate repair) is excluded unless quoted.
6. Liability
We carry public liability insurance and take full responsibility for damage caused by our negligence. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the value of the relevant job or the amount recoverable under our insurance. We are not liable for consequential losses such as lost rental income, except where the law does not permit such a limitation.
7. Scheduling
Appointment windows are estimates; emergencies occasionally reshuffle the day. If we are running more than 45 minutes past the agreed window, we will call. Either party may reschedule with at least 4 hours' notice at no cost.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts. If any clause is found unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue to apply.
