At a glance
Even vertical V-grooves at 50, 75 or 100mm centres, horizontal banding, framed rectangles that mimic a panel door, and offset compositions drawn to the architect layout. Groove depth runs 6 to 10mm with a clean shoulder.
The grooves are cut into a laminated face of adequate thickness, never into a thin veneer that would blow out at the shoulder. Every leaf is sanded through three grits after routing so there is no fuzz sitting in the corners waiting to catch a finish.
This is the most economical way to give a whole house one visual language. The setup happens once, so a set of ten doors costs far less per leaf than ten one-off designs.
