Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Brewdesk Trade Services Sdn Bhd ("Brewdesk", "we") handles personal data collected through brewdesk.pro and in the course of providing plumbing and electrical services. We process personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia.

1. What we collect

• Contact details you provide through our form, phone, WhatsApp or email: name, phone number, email address and the description of your job.
• Service records: your property address, the work performed, parts installed, photographs of the fault and the completed repair, quotes and invoices.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated automatically when you browse this site.

2. Why we collect it

We use personal data solely to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and perform work, honour our 90-day workmanship warranty, issue invoices and receipts, and meet our legal obligations, including tax record-keeping. We do not use your data for automated decision-making, and we do not send marketing messages unless you have expressly asked to receive them.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone. Data is shared only with: (a) suppliers when registering a manufacturer's warranty on your behalf; (b) our accountant and auditors for statutory purposes; and (c) authorities where disclosure is required by law. Any party receiving data from us is bound to use it only for the stated purpose.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiry data that does not become a job is deleted within 12 months. Job records, quotes and invoices are kept for 7 years to satisfy warranty and tax requirements, after which they are securely destroyed.

5. Security

Records are stored on access-controlled systems available only to staff who need them for their work. Form submissions on this site travel over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational precautions proportionate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to further processing (which may limit our ability to serve you). Write to [email protected] or to our registered address below, and we will respond within 21 days.
