Sockets where life actually happens
Extension cords snaking along skirting boards are the most common electrical hazard we see in KL homes. Adding a properly wired socket point costs less than most people expect, and we route the cable through walls or trunking so the finish looks intentional rather than added-on. Before quoting we check the circuit the new point will join, so you are never overloading a line that was already near its limit.
Fans hung on hooks, not hope
A ceiling fan weighs several kilograms and swings. It must hang from a proper fan hook anchored to structure, not from a plasterboard ceiling or a light point. We install and balance new fans, replace capacitors and regulators on old ones, and will tell you honestly when a wobbling fan is a balance issue versus a mounting problem worth fixing before it becomes dramatic.
Lighting, indoors and out
From swapping halogen downlights to LED, to planning lighting for a renovated kitchen, to weatherproof fittings for the porch and garden, we handle the design conversation and the wiring together. Outdoor work gets IP-rated fittings and RCCB protection as standard, because Malaysian rain finds every shortcut eventually.
Typical jobs in this category
- Additional 13A socket points, single and double
- Ceiling fan installation, replacement and balancing
- LED downlight retrofits and new lighting layouts
- Autogate and porch power supplies
- Outdoor and garden lighting with IP-rated fittings
- Switch and dimmer replacements, two-way switching
What it costs
A straightforward extra socket point starts around RM120 including materials. Ceiling fan installation with an existing point runs RM90 to RM160 per fan. Larger lighting projects are quoted per point after a walk-through. As always, the figure is written down before any drilling starts.
